Obelisk connects a sentence in Obsidian to Android app access, session timing, interruption decisions, and a reflection that returns to the same Daily Note.

    Your intention begins in the Daily Note you already own. One sentence gives the session a purpose before an app opens.

Home points back to Obsidian.

Obelisk can act as the Android HOME app. Pressing Home routes to the configured Obsidian Daily Note. During an active normal session, Obelisk asks whether the task is finished; a quick navigation session returns directly to the note when its time ends.

Daily Note requirements can become prerequisites.

Daily Note Locking can require selected tasks, authored words, or authored list items before configured apps open after their deadline. Template text and examples do not count toward those requirements.

Recovery is part of the flow.

Android permissions, protected windows, and device process management can interrupt overlays or session monitoring. Obelisk preserves session state where possible, explains the failure, and provides a recovery path instead of silently discarding the intention.
